Adaptrum Product Video

Challenge

Adaptrum had built a genuinely meaningful technology that used unlicensed TV white space spectrum to deliver affordable broadband to rural and underserved communities worldwide. The challenge was explaining it. TV white space isn’t intuitive, and the technology’s value only lands when people understand how it works.

Approach

I owned the video explainer project end to end: storyboard, script, asset design, animation, and sound design. The visual approach was deliberately clean and flat, letting the motion carry the weight. The centerpiece was an abstract visualization of TV white space bands that showed how the technology identifies and dynamically accesses unused spectrum — making an invisible technical process visible and legible. I kept the motion fluid with subtle blur, prioritizing clarity and flow over complexity.

The video succeeded as a product explainer. It clearly conveyed what the technology does and why it matters, without requiring a technical audience. The work holds up as an example of motion design in service of a real communication problem.
